Ah The Labyrinth! I was used to the bigger warehouse parties, like the Roller Express so when I first went I was like, what is this weird little, ramshackle place, but it definitely had it's own thing going on. After going a few times I got the impression that there were alot of locals in there that were either college or just out of college mates. As a privately educated suburban North West Londoner, my preconceptions made me feel a bit intimidated initially but I really grew to appreciate its proper East London vibe. Saying that I don't think I ever got used to queuing up on Dalston Lane late on a Friday. Proper Shady! I never got down to Innersense at the Lazerdrome but from what I've read and heard, it had a similar vibe.

i think there was some wrong'uns in the labrynth crowd, for sure, but most of them were just kids looking for fun. never experienced any hostility there, it was quite a welcoming vibe. but then everyone was off their tits.

one of my great regrets is never making to Innersense at the Lazerdrome.

also never making it to Club Telepathy.
