The Dutch have always seemed to love these huge raves with mega production. I remember going to Dance Valley in 2001 and being very impressed by it - also interesting was the contrast to Britain, i.e. that by the end there were far fewer casualties. People were high for sure, but nowhere nearly as wrecked as was standard at UK raves.
Brits are incorrigible wreck heads by nature. Actually though, if you look at Summer of Love 1989 rave footage, there are far less casualties, more an air of just right blissed outness, compared with 91-93 rave footage where an increasingly younger crowd are chewing their faces off. 20 year olds on 1 good quality £20 pill vrs 17 year olds on 4 speedy, ketty, or mda £10 pills look very different!!
