By the by, the Wikipedia page for Jon Bon Jovi has a 1987 photograph of a beaming Jon Bon Jovi sat with Jonathan King. Surely his people could've done something to take down such a photo? How embarrassed would you feel if Wikipedia had a photo of you with Jon Bon Jovi? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jon_Bon_Jovi
Possible - he did write a column for Disc and Music Echo and I feel like I've read opinion pieces he did for Melody Maker when I was doing my early '70s glam research. But I would have thought he'd go as "Jonathan King", being an self-publicist. "John King" is probably quite a common name - there's one in Gang of Four after all (actually Jon King - short for Jonathan King).
I can't imagine Jon Bon Jovi's people are following bygone pop-world scandals in the U.K. very closely.
Is it THAT Jonathan King? He did know Hendrix.
